How do I start a game quickly?
Use Quick Play on the home screen. Set the number of players, tap Quick Play and you're in — no setup needed. Players are named P1, P2, P3 and can be renamed in Settings during the game.
How do I advance to the next round?
Swipe down from the top of the game screen and release. A round banner will confirm the new round has started. All round scores reset to zero while your cumulative totals are preserved.
How do I end a game?
Press and hold the End Game button for 1 second. The button fills red as you hold — release when full to see the final scores and winner podium.
How do I score quickly?
Tap + or − on each player card for ±1. Swipe the card right for +10 or left for −10. Double-tap the score number to enter any value with the keyboard — including math expressions like 11−4.
Will my scores be saved if I close the app?
Yes. Tallyman saves your game automatically after every score change. Open the app and tap your game from Previous Games to resume exactly where you left off.
How do I rename players mid-game?
Tap Settings during the game. Under the Players section you can edit any player's name directly. Changes take effect immediately on the scoring screen.
How do I change the winning score or round limit?
Tap Settings during the game and expand the Game Setup section. You can update the target score, maximum rounds and scoring mode at any point during the game.
Is Tallyman free?
Yes — Tallyman is completely free with no ads, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. All features are available from the moment you install.
